Dr. Jill Rabin, a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is an active researcher, consultant, lecturer, and media spokesperson. She holds eight patents and one copyright for urogynecologic medical devices, including a confidence-building incontinence pad, a pessary for treating vaginal prolapse, and a finger protector for surgeons. In recognition of her professional excellence, she has garnered many research and teaching awards, including the excellence in teaching award from the Association of Professors in Gynecology and Obstetrics. Widely published, she has authored four books on women’s health.
As a physician, Dr. Rabin is passionate about improving the lives of women by providing them with quality healthcare and up-to-the-minute medical information. As a teacher, she is dedicated to enhancing and enriching the medical education of her students through progressive curriculum development and active mentorship. It is her firm belief that empowered patients and compassionate, well-prepared physicians can work together to greatly improve women’s health.

Gail Stein, M.A.
Gail Stein, M.A. is a retired New York City junior and senior high school foreign language instructor. During her more than 33 years of service she assisted in a revision project of the French curriculum for the New York City Board of Education, served as an adjunct professor to St. John’s University in its Early Admission Extension Program, gave presentations and demonstrations at numerous citywide foreign language conferences, appeared on the Barry Farber radio program promoting the study of French, and had her lessons videotaped by the New York City Board of Education for national distribution. Mrs. Stein is a multiple-time honoree in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
In addition to Mind Over Bladder, Gail Stein is the author of over 40 well-known French and Spanish textbooks, phrase books, guides, handbooks, and a crossword puzzle book.

Dr. Danielle O'Shaughnessy is a practicing Urogynecologist in Eastern Long Island. Dr. O'Shaughnessy earned her MD from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, in Brooklyn. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwell Health System, and continued in the Northwell Health System to complete a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. After fellowship, she joined Northwell Physician Partners. Her research interests include optimizing a surgical graft material for use in prolapse and incontinence. She currently serves as the Research Director for the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Northwell Health as well as Assistant Professor in Department of OB/GYN Donald and Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. O'Shaughnessy is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Urogynecologic Society and American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
